Growing up in the Bronx with Puerto Rican roots, Jeff Monge's professional journey blends his business acumen with his passion for community and economic development. Mr. Monge is the Managing Partner of Monge Capital, a firm providing real estate and capital advisory solutions for complex investments. Mr. Monge has closed over $2.0B in transactions nationally, including in Puerto Rico. Monge Capital has extensive expertise in direct equity, debt, and the use of various government financing programs, with a niche expertise in New Markets Tax Credits.

Recently, Monge Capital partnered with Lendistry, a fintech CDFI lender, to build an NMTC platform and won $35MM in allocation to create an MBE lending initiative that received multiple Transaction of the Year awards.

Previously, Mr. Monge was SVP and Principal for a $520MM equity fund focused on repositioning real estate in underserved communities. During his 10-year tenure, the firm had a portfolio of over $3B in investments that utilized an array of public financing for transformative community development projects. He also secured approximately $200MM in NMTC allocation, financing over $450MM in transactions.

Jeff is a Board Member of the Real Estate Association of Latinx Professionals, a Real Estate Executive Council Member, a Hispanic Scholarship Fund Advisory Member, and a co-founder of Open Access, a program that increases Black and Latinx representation in community development finance. He received an Él Award from El Diario NY and the Champion of the Year Award from the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development for his professional achievements and social responsibility.
