Cristina is a Senior Project Manager at BRIDGE Housing Corporation., a leading multi-family affordable housing developer in California and the Pacific Northwest. She has 9 years of experience developing affordable housing across Southern California, and has led or contributed to the development of nearly 700 units – totaling in $250 million in development costs. Her experience spans all phases of development, efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously from acquisition through completion. This includes selecting/managing development consultants, managing the entitlement process, managing the design and permitting process, acquiring public funding, creating and maintaining the project proformas and schedules, working with the lenders and investors, and overseeing the construction and lease up of each of her projects. Cristina has secured over $270 million of public funding for affordable housing developments throughout Southern California. She currently has four active projects, totaling a development budget of approximately $240 million and inclusive of 350 units in predevelopment/under construction.
Cristina is a mentor in Merritt Community Capital’s Merrit Scholars Program, a program for college students interested in a career in affordable housing development/finance. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, with a B.A. in Urban Studies & Planning.
