Sophia Zarate is a versatile and impact-driven professional with a strong foundation in Accounting and Finance. She currently works full-time in Special Events and Admissions at an independent school in New York City, where she blends operational expertise with a creative, people-centered approach to community engagement.

Sophia began her career in Corporate America, gaining hands-on experience across multiple departments. Her cross-functional background gives her a 360-degree understanding of how organizations operate and how people thrive within them.

In addition to her full-time role, Sophia is the Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Pero Latinos (CPL), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization she founded to facilitate social and professional connections for bicultural Latinx professionals while giving back to underserved and underrepresented members of the community. Under her leadership, CPL has expanded to multiple chapters across the country, built partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, and grown its Sin Paredes Scholarship Fund, which has doubled in award size under her direction.
