Daniela Garcia is an experienced Vice President of Development with a demonstrated
history in multifamily real estate development and affordable housing. She possesses
deep skills in financial planning, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project
management.
In her previous role at Empira Group, a global real estate investment manager, Daniela
managed the development process of several market-rate multifamily properties in
Miami and Dallas, from planning and zoning to construction documentation and
permitting. She also developed liquidity strategies to minimize risk and ensure project
success.
Prior to her role at Empira, Daniela was on Freddie Mac’s Targeted Affordable Housing
Team, tasked with conducting detailed underwriting for affordable multifamily deals,
ensuring compliance with FHA requirements and securing successful loan
securitizations. She played a leading role in strategic planning and investor
presentations, leveraging deep knowledge of affordable housing programs such as
Housing Choice Vouchers and Project-Based Rental Assistance.
Daniela holds a degree in Policy Studies from Syracuse University along with a Master's
in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University.
